Single Premium Deferred Annuity (SPDA)

  • Minimum Deposit $10,000

  • Designed as a single lump sum payment; however, additional deposits can be made within the first 90 days

  • 7 year surrender charge period

  • 10% free withdrawal after the first year for members 59 ½ or older

Flexible Premium Deferred Annuity (FPDA)

  • Minimum Deposit $2,000

  • Allows for periodic deposits to be made at any time

  • 8 year surrender charge period

  • 10% free withdrawal after the first year for members 59 ½ or older

5 Year Single Premium Deferred Annuity

  • Interest rate is guaranteed for 5 years

  • Minimum Deposit $10,000

  • Designed as a single lump sum payment; however, additional deposits can be made within the first 90 days

  • 10% free withdrawal after the first year for members 59 ½ or older

After the first contract year, the Flexible Premium Deferred Annuity (FPDA) and the regular Single Premium Deferred Annuity (SPDA) will waive surrender charges on partial withdrawals for the following occurrences up to the percentage shown.

  • Confinement to a nursing home – up to 50% of the accumulation value may be withdrawn

  • Total disability – up to 50% of the accumulation value may be withdrawn

  • Heart attack – up to 25% of the accumulation may be withdrawn

  • Internal cancer – up to 25% of the accumulation may be withdrawn

Distributions on any annuity before age 59 ½ may be subject to ordinary income tax and a 10% IRS penalty tax.
