Junior News!

This summer has been very exciting for me and hopefully for everyone else within the KJZT FAMILY LIFE. A lot of events were going on.
It began with Family Fun Day at Splashway in Sheridan, Texas, in which many families and guests enjoyed Holy Mass offered by State Chaplain, Father Jared Cooke, swimming, water slides and a meal and snacks provided by KJZT Family Life.
Next was our summer camp, Camp Guardian Angel, which was held at our new location in Burnet, Texas at Camp Buckner. It proved to be very successful and was a great time for everyone to participate in different activities such as Holy Mass, swimming, ropes courses, archery, Czech Night and other traditional camp activities and have good old-fashioned fun.
A most rewarding event for me was I had an opportunity of being invited and was able to attend a beautiful wedding of Lauren Gerik from the Abbott Society
No. 104 and Daniel Castanon from the Palacios Society No. 126. They both attended Camp Guardian Angel and were very active in their Junior Society. Also,
I attended a wedding of another one of the Juniors, Noah Leist from the Shiner Society No. 5, who also attended Camp Guardian Angel and was a very active
Junior. It was an honor and pleasure to be able to attend such memorable events.
As we continue to the end of summer there are still a few District Socials scheduled. Those of you that did not have one yet, please take the time to attend it and finish celebrating the events with the KJZT Family Life.
Plans are in the making for the 2026 Camp Guardian Angel and other activities. We will pass on the information on all the events as it becomes available and as
soon as we can.
May the good Lord Bless us all!
