Society No. 45 Tours Annual Mass

Society No. 45 Tours will hold their Annual Mass in the outside Grotto of St. Martin’s Church at 5:30 p.m.. A reception will follow at the CCE Center to honor veterans.

Society No. 32 Houston Quarterly Meeting

Society No. 32 Houston will hold their 2nd Quarterly Meeting at the Assumption Catholic Church, 901 Roselane St. in Houston at the Pope John Paul Build- ing at 1:30 p.m.

District IX Social

National Polka Festival

The National Polka Festival in Ennis, Texas invites everyone to come help celebrate 53 wonderful years of Czech heritage festivities. The festival kicks off with an opening dance Friday at 6 p.m., featuring polka music and the King and Queen Dance Contest. At 10 a.m. on Saturday, floats, bands, and colorful costumes will kick-off the downtown festivities. Enjoy a weekend of polka dancing, Czech foods, and 13 sensational LIVE polka bands, including Grammy Award-winning Brave Combo. Visit for more.
